BlackVault Names

A name people can pay instead of a 0x address:

you.blackvaultwallet.eth

Names are ENS subnames issued by BlackVault’s own name service — resolvable in-app today and, once the mainnet resolver is activated, anywhere ENS works (other wallets included).

Claim a name

1. Settings → Username → Get your name.
2. Type a label (3–20 lowercase letters, numbers, or dashes) and Check availability.
3. Review the purchase: the full name, the wallet it connects to, the price (free or a one-time USDG fee, shown up front), and the network.
4. Slide to claim — a live progress log runs, then the success check.

When claims are priced, payment is a USDG transfer verified on-chain by the service before the name is recorded — and a payment can never be reused.

Change your name

Settings → Username → Change. Same flow; your old name is released and the new one takes its place. When claims are priced, each change costs the fee again.

Use a name

• Send to a name — type it in the Send field; the review screen shows the resolved address before anything signs.
• Receive with your name — it appears under your QR on every receive surface, tap-to-copy.
• One name per wallet; names always point at the wallet that claimed them.

Private transfers still need your st:eth:… address — a name resolves to your public address and can’t receive privately.
